Cambodian conglomerate, the Sokimex Group, is developing a new 600-room luxury resort in the coastal resort town of Sihanoukville, the Phnom Penh Post reported company officials as saying. The nine-storey complex will be built of 54 hectares of land at O’Chhuteal Beach, and will also feature bungalows and a golf course. It is due to be completed in 2012. It will become Sokha’s second Sihanoukville property, adding to the existing Sokha Beach Resort.
