(MODERATE ROUTE – 3 Rappels) At the practice slope you’ll learn the basics of knot tying, harness wearing, hardware, and proper rappelling technique. After the guides are satisfied that you’ve got it down, you’ll head down the first of your three rappels. Lunch is organized at the base of a waterfall, and you’ll have the opportunity to go down some wicked water slides before heading out of the canyon
(ADVANCED ROUTE – 5 Rappels) The advanced route is for those in moderately good physical condition, looking for a more extreme challenge. This route follows the moderate route through the first rappel and skips over the second rappel to the third rappel before the water slides and lunch. After lunch the rappels are more technical and are wet drops as opposed to dry. This means you are in the waterfall as opposed to next to it. The last and most difficult rappel is affectionately known as “The Washing Machine”.
