Vietnamese painting exhibition opens in Poland

An exhibition of contemporary paintings spotlighting Vietnamese culture opened in Poland’s Warsaw Capital on June 9.

The exhibition is being held during celebrations of the 35th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Poland and a visit to Poland by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung from June 11-14.

The opening day of the exhibition drew 200 visitors, including foreign diplomats and overseas Vietnamese in the European country.

Visitors to the exhibition have praised the paintings, including lacquer and oil paintings.

The art show will close on June 18.
