Treks are now offered to these isolated jungle villages and some include sleeping overnight in the village. It is best to go on an organized trek so as not to offend the sensitivities of the hill tribes. There are also guided trips to the chunchiet cemeteries where the Tampuen bury their dead and install carved wooden effigies of the dead to stand guard over the graves.
