Opened in late 2005, the Ancient Luang Prabang Hotel enjoys the central location with stylish attention to detail in decor and construction. Guest rooms, each named after an animal from the Chinese zodiac, fan out from the central wooden staircase spine.
The unique hand carved wooden keycard fobs are stored in a splendid circular key panel at reception. The Ancient Luang Prabang's friendly staff go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable experience.

Location |
Ancient Luang Prabang Hotel is in the town centre on the main street, beside a bank, shops and the post office and opposite the daily Hmong textile market. It is a couple of minutes walk to the Royal Palace Museum and the stairs at the base of Mount Phousi. The evening fruit and food market and the tempting craft market start just outside the Hotel.
Close to the Mekong River, it takes around 10 min walk along the main street to reach the splendid Wat Xieng Thong at the end of the peninsula. The Hotel is 15 min drive from the Airport and the bus Stations.
