Topas Ecolodge is situated in the perfect location at two cone-shaped hills set deep in the spectacular Sapa valley of Northern Vietnam. The ecolodge consists of 25 individual lodges placed in a circle around the hills.
The ecolodge uses solar technology to supply every lodge with energy and hot water,
employ local people and use local products and goods in order to bring economic benefits to the local community.

The ecolodge consists of 25 bungalows made of white granite from a nearby quarry, and roofs thatched with palm branches. All bungalows have a private balcony with a magnificent view over the valley, which are home to villages of the Tay and Red Dao minorities.

Location |
Topas Ecolodge is situated in the perfect location at two cone-shaped hills set deep in the spectacular Sapa valley of Northern Vietnam.
From Sapa, the nearest town to Topas Eco Lodge:
Topas Eco Lodge provide daily transportation according to schedule from Sapa to the Eco Lodge. Even though the road is under constructing some parts are still dirt road. It takes about one to one and a half hour to go from Sapa to the Eco lodge.
From Hanoi:
Trains run daily from Hanoi, Tulico, and Ratraco, as well as Victoria trains, which travel to the mountainous town of Lao Cai. From here, it takes an hour to drive to Sapa, the town nearest to Topas Ecolodge.
These trains run day and night. The night trains provide a very good standard of soft sleeper berths - you can depart from Hanoi at 22:00 and arrive in Lao Cai next morning at 06:00. There are many other departure and arrival options.
