Of this figure, nearly 160,000 foreign tourists came the province, a 12% increase year on year. Total tourism turnover reached an estimated VND 591.667 billion, also a 12% increase year on year.

Till June 10, 2008, the province had 135 tour operators, 119 hotels and resorts with 4,676 rooms, 97 ranked hotels with 77 four-star above hotels.

Other awards were granted to Dong Mo for most beautiful scenery, Chi Linh for the best services, Van Tri for the best design, and Long Thanh for most environmentally-friendly.

The award was orgnaised by Vietnam Golf magazine and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

The Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Centre incorporates a two-storey building with a total acreage of 1,210m² and a garden, housing a variety of ornamental plants.

Once various parts of the centre were completed and put into use during its 20-month construction process, a number of cultural activities were organised, including photographic and art exhibitions.

It has already established itself as a Buddhist centre, not only for monks, nuns and followers of the faith, but also tourists, who visit to experience the tranquility of the venue and take in the Buddhist books, prayers and other publications that are on display there.

According to Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam Mr. Hoang Trung Hai, the criterias for this prestigious award certificate the quality of the products and services of the player in the market.

This is the annual award of the Vietnam Small and Medium Enterprise Association with the purpose of honoring the most outstanding faces in thousands of companies in Vietnam.

This year, the organization committee will award 100 enterprises national wide in all sectors, the economy components, including the enterprises with 100% foreign capital operating effectively in Viet Nam. Luxury Travel will be awarded for the most Excellent Product and Service Awards in Vietnam in 2008 in the tourism industry.

The “Excellent Product and Service Awards 2008” award ceremony will be organized solemnly at Hanoi Opera House on 04 Jan 2009 and live broadcast on the Viet Nam National Televisions VTV1 and VTC1.
