Whale Island Resort on Van Phong Bay was built in 1997 by Jacques Yves Cousteau, a French marine cartographer. Transparent water, coral and coconut trees underline the tropical exoticism. He discovered the place by cruising in the area.
Facilities include a restaurant, snorkeling, scuba diving and windsurfing. There are traditional fishing boats renewed to transfer guests from the mainland, or to reach dive sites. Speedboats are also available for your transportation, to or from the island at any time of the day. For your leisure, we have catamarans, wind surf and canoe.
